John Oke Christopher
(also known as Oke Christopher)

John Oke Christopher, a native of Ofoni in Sagbama Local Government Area, Bayelsa State, Nigeria, is the first of nine children. He completed both his secondary and tertiary education in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State. Inspired by his parents, whom he tragically lost during his undergraduate years, John pursued further studies in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, where he earned both his master’s and doctorate degrees.

As a dedicated scholar specializing in Development Economics, John’s academic pursuits are matched by his passion for music. He began learning the piano at the age of 13, and over the years, he has become a highly skilled and experienced pianist. He has served as the lead pianist in several churches, including Glorious Covenant Church, The Redeemed Christian Church of God, Hilltop International Christian Centre, and Great Grace Distinguished Assembly, where he held the position of Music Director.

John is not only a talented pianist but also a gifted singer, songwriter, music producer, and an accomplished administrator. His professional experience spans across the manufacturing, construction, aviation, and educational sectors. Additionally, he is a member of several prestigious professional bodies, including the Institute of Chartered Economists of Nigeria (ICEN).
